Atta Boys to Dylan Young and Tanner Rush for their enthusiastic participation in AGC of MO's Build My Future event in Jefferson City, showcasing careers in the trades to high school students.
Tim Schroer stated, "Tanner was asked to help at this event because he is in his second year of apprenticeship. For not initially knowing what he was expected to do, he did an excellent job talking with the students and demonstrating our trade. It was exciting to see how well Tanner interacted with the students. With confidence, he professionally showed our trade and answered questions about our industry. He is truly an asset for TJ Wies and a good young man to work with.
"Phil Meyer said, "Dylan was asked to help out with this event because he participated in the Building Trades program as a high school student and joined the Union upon graduation. Dylan blew me away with how quickly he came out of his shell. He displayed confidence and integrity as he took the time to show our trade and talk to all students that stopped at our display. He was very professional and represented our side of this industry very well. He fielded all questions well and kept the attention of his audience, as well as making sure the students were using the proper PPE at all times. Dylan is definitely an asset to TJ Wies."
